Beautifully restored listed 17th century cottage overlooking the green in the village centre. Westleton is a pretty village midway between Aldeburgh and Southwold with the coast at Dunwich only two and a half miles away. It is centred around a large green and is one of the most popular places to stay on the Heritage Coast as it is an ideal base for the beach or for Minsmere, as well as the coastal heaths and forests. There are two good pubs, a restaurant and well-stocked village store cum post office, all in the village centre. Much of the area around the village is accessible open heath or mixed woodland. Appletree Cottage is a beautifully restored listed 17th Century cottage overlooking the green in the village centre. You will appreciate the carefully preserved traditional features, such as beamed ceilings, an inglenook fireplace and the original brick floor, combined with modern comforts. Apple tree Cottage is a wonderful retreat which may have you coming back for more. Shop: 100 yards Pub: 100 yards.
