Description of Bridge Cottage
A delightful cottage at the end of a short row, tucked into a lane 2 minutes walk from the picturesque National Trust harbour of Boscastle. Completely renovated with slate flooring throughout downstairs and furnished with a restful decor, perfect for a peaceful quiet holiday.
Entered via a glazed front door into a wide hallway, a door leads off to a comfortably furnished, light and airy sitting room with a sheltered pleasant outlook down the valley. On the opposite side of the hall are a cloakroom W.C. with hand basin, and a fully fitted kitchen / dining room with pale coloured units and coordinating dining suite.
Upstairs are three bedrooms, a king-size 6ft double with one easy chair overlooking the river leading down to the harbour mouth, two twin bedded rooms, one with vanity basin, and bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower fitment over the bath. Accessed from the kitchen and living room, French doors open to a charming and spacious walled patio, ideal for evening barbecues.
It is possible to unload outside the property, but parking is in the car park 200 yards away. Shops, pubs and the harbour are all within easy level walking distance, the coastal footpath is close at hand and the beaches of Trebarwith Strand and Crackington Haven are about 5 miles respectively.
Please note: Towels are not available but tea towels are supplied. No dogs upstairs please. A weekly car park ticket currently costs £28.
