It is nestled beside Whitbarrow Scar, a national reserve with great views of the surrounding hills. Ideal for enjoying leisurely walks from the door Broad Rayne is well situated for exploring Kendal, Bowness and the busier Lakes resorts by car. And after a day of walking or sightseeing, there are three excellent country pubs within easy reach, The Hare and Hounds and The Masons Arms at Bowland Bridge and the Punchbowl at Crosthwaite, all offering excellent food.
