Description of Causeway House
In a unique location and affording stunning views across the Holy Island Causeway and sand dunes, this contemporary detached house offers well equipped holiday accommodation. Causeway House is a modern property where the lounge is positioned on the first floor; an additional window in the gable end enhances the bright and airy ambience and takes advantage of the spectacular far reaching views across open fields towards the causeway. The Holy Island of Lindisfarne is the birthplace of Christianity and is a tidal island on the extreme North East coast of Northumberland, close to Berwick upon Tweed. The island is linked to the mainland twice daily - access is via a metalled causeway, which is swept by the North Sea but safe to cross twice daily.
