Curlew Cottage lies literally across the road from the sand and pebble beach, with wonderful views across the Solway to the Scottish Hills and glorious sunsets in the evening. The promenade extends into Silloth and is perfect for gentle walks or exercising the dog. Situated on the boundary of Skinburness and Silloth, on the Cumbrian Coastal Way, a haven for wildlife with bird sanctuaries and nature reserves dotted along the estuary. The Victorian seaside town of Silloth, with its cobbled streets, amenities and amusements is within walking distance, approx 1 mile.
