One of only three lodges, in 10 acres of private grounds, and sharing this exceptionally attractive location surrounded by private pastureland and beautiful rolling Exmoor countryside. The village pub serving homemade food is within a 5 minute stroll, with shop selling basic provisions for touring site also nearby. Set three miles equidistant from Dulverton and Bampton, Exebridge offers a most attractive location for those seeking rural tranquillity. Magnificent walking and riding country, with coarse fishing freely available from the owners private lake (also used by local anglers). Wimbleball Reservoir offering windsailing and fishing is two miles distant, with trout fishing also available within five minutes walk. Dunster, with its fine castle and reputation as being the "prettiest village on Exmoor", is just a scenic 20 minute drive, whilst the coastal town of Minehead, and further beaches at Blue Anchor Bay and the famously picturesque Weir at Porlock are also easily accessible.
This spacious lodge is set amid beautiful grounds overlooking a large fishing lake with its own private gazebo accessed by a decked walkway across the lake and surrounded by delightful Exmoor countryside. The property was newly built in 2010 to exacting specifications and has been finished to exceptionally high standards in contemporary style with a touch of French Chic! With vaulted ceilings, halogen lighting, rugs on beautiful wooden flooring, this tastefully furnished and well equipped lodge has gas central heating to provide year round comfort and is an ideal setting for couples, families and friends.
Two attractive bedrooms - Beautifully appointed king size double with French style furniture, halogen ceiling lights, TV and DVD. A curtained archway leads from the bedroom through to a private dressing room with mirrored fitted wardrobe and dressing table through to a first class spacious attractively tiled ensuite bathroom/wc with double ended spa bath, two hand basins and separate shower cubicle. Twin bedded room with attractive furnishings, TV and DVD archway to private dressing room with fitted mirrored wardrobe and through to an attractive ensuite tiled bathroom/wc, with separate shower cubicle. Very comfortable and spacious triple aspect, open plan living room with large leather settees and chair, satellite TV, DVD and CD - radio facility through the TV, iPod docking station and Wi-Fi connection. Large dining area with wonderful views towards the lake and river. Fully fitted high quality kitchen area with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, slim line dishwasher etc. Separate utility room/wc with washing machine, tumble dryer and vanity unit. The wonderful views over the lake and surrounding countryside may be enjoyed from the living area where French doors lead to a large raised decked and covered veranda with garden furniture ideal for al fresco dining. Four steps lead down to a private lawned area to the side of the property and a large grassed area in front of the property bordering the River Exe with table and benches. Private parking for 2 or 3 cars adjacent.
