Description of Rascal Howe
Perched high above Coniston, and with breath taking views of the lake below, Rascal Howe is a Lakeland cottage named after a local rocky outcrop. The cottage boasts a wealth of features such as multi level garden terraces, a cast iron fireplace and traditional oak ceiling beams and will suit those looking for something different to the more common stripped pine look. The Cottage is literally at the foot of the Old Man of Coniston with walks to this and surrounding fells beginning from right behind the house. Down at the lake you can hire boats or cruise the lake on the steamer service.
